The queen room was nicely furnished and warm with stunning views of the slopes. Guests had essential amenities such as an electric kettle, a mini bar fridge, and a personal safe for a lovely winter stay. - An excellent and perfect location, not far from the slopes, nature, and the ski area.

Had a perfectly pleasant stay for a nice family vacation and the weather was beautiful.
The room was newly remodelled and neat, no complaints at all. Coffee and black tea were a very nice touch.

The rooms were of a good size and fantastic views from balcony. Perfect for centre of Pamporovo
There was no room service which was not specified anywhere, when asked it was `only in season` this was annoying as hardly anything else was open in the village to get anything! Breakfast was pretty dire, a cold hard boiled egg with sliced ham and cheese and toast . Would not recommend staying here at any other time apart from the ski season.

When I arrived at the hotel, after 10 hours driving, the room was cold, with one heater inside the room, but un-plugged. Then I asked another heater and I had to spent the night with 2 heaters plugged. The problem is that the heaters spread a bad smell, it was hard to sleep this way. Also the breakfast was poor for a 5* hotel.

+ On arrival we were welcomed by the Hotel Groom who helped us park our car and with our suit cases to reception and to our room. Very Helpfull Guy who Deserves a Special mention as he was very Polite and went out of his way to help us.He earned a well deserved Tip! + We stayed in a room on the 5th floor which had amazing Views of the mountains. The room was very clean and very warm with Plenty of Hot water. + The Maid who cleaned our room also Deserves a special mention as she was Very Polite and friendly and Took time to Smile and say Hello to you which nobody else does in the Hotel. + Great Location but service of 3 Star.
- Reception need to learn how to Smile! .- Lobby Bar Staff need to learn to have Manners and not be so Rude.We had the phone put down on us 2 times when calling for a Bottle opener as Your room does not have one. -Bed Linen to small for the Double Bed! - The 2 Bottles of water in Mini Bar where Out Of Date and had been opened before so we didnt touch them and bought drinks from outside hotel! - Cups/Plates in restaurant at Breakfast are Chipped. -Fruit peeled and cut so they are turning Black and you can not eat them.-Piano Bar Shut. Staff in General need Lessons in Service skills and not being so Unwelcoming to guests. a smile and a Hello goes a long way and makes guests want to come Back.

The only thing i would like to mention is that i was trying every morning for a decent cup to drink my coffee. Every one was broken. Pretty bad for a hotel especially a 5 stars one.

This is a wonderful travel destination if you want a quiet, picturesque, and romantic setting during the summer or fall. Excellent front desk reception staff made for a very positive first impression and they were helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is set in a lovely location. All rooms have a balcony facing the mountains. They need balcony table and chairs, however, to make it more functional. The rooms are nothing special and could use some updating, but they are clean and spacious. And, the other amenities (pool, saunas, outdoor tanning recliners, massages) were a big plus, especially after an afternoon of hiking. We were there during the off season so rates were very reasonable. At the same time, because it was off season, I think they were training in restaurant staff and a couple of our orders were mixed up. The food was very well prepared, however (highly recommend the trout and camembert with blueberry sauce), and they gave us free wine for having blundered our food order. All in all, we had a wonderful experience at the Orlovetz. In September it is quiet and restful, but I'm guessing its very busy in the winter. We plan to return during the ski season. I'm told their slopes are great for beginners and intermediates because of the gradual slopes.
The balconies need small table/chairs for enjoying the spectacular views. The hotel should invest in a road sign indicating direction of hotel. There are several forks in the road before you get to the central area of the ski resort area, so its a bit confusing. There are other hotels that have signs, but we did not see one for Orlovetz.
